Terms governing the use of the JurisActa platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the JurisActa platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
JurisActa provides software tools that enable users to document service attempts, store supporting evidence, and generate evidence records and certificates for documentation purposes. The Service is intended to assist with documentation workflows but does not replace professional legal judgment.
3. No Legal Advice
The Service provides documentation and evidence management tools only. JurisActa does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation.
4. User Responsibility for Legal Compliance
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any affidavit, declaration, certificate, or other document generated or exported through the Service complies with all applicable laws, court rules, and procedural requirements before submission or use in any legal proceeding.
5. No Guarantee of Court Acceptance
JurisActa does not guarantee that any affidavit, certificate, or document generated through the Service will be accepted by any court, agency, or legal authority. Acceptance of such documents depends on applicable laws, local court rules, and the accuracy of information provided by the user.
6. Evidence Verification Limitation
JurisActa may generate cryptographic hashes, evidence certificates, or verification artifacts intended to help confirm the integrity of stored records. These mechanisms verify record integrity only and do not verify the truth, completeness, or legal sufficiency of information submitted by users.
7. User Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its normal operation. This includes attempting to access unauthorized data, disrupt platform infrastructure, or use the Service for unlawful activities.
9. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. JurisActa makes reasonable efforts to maintain system availability and data integrity but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or continuous availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JurisActa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Service, including but not limited to lost cases, rejected filings, business interruption, or loss of data.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JurisActa and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to comply with applicable laws or court rules.

15. Data Retention
JurisActa may retain evidence records, documents, and associated metadata for a limited period determined by the Service. JurisActa does not guarantee indefinite storage of any record and Users are responsible for exporting or preserving copies of any documents required for legal or regulatory purposes.
16. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure providers, including cloud hosting, storage, authentication, and payment processors. JurisActa is not responsible for outages, data loss, or service disruptions caused by third-party providers.
17. Beta Software Notice
Certain features of the Service may be released in beta, preview, or early-access form. These features may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete functionality. Users acknowledge that beta features are provided for evaluation purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole record of legally required documentation.
